Please Don’t Call It A “Convenience” C-Section
About a week before my scheduled C-section I felt a sensation of water running down my leg. I called my doctor panicked and within 30 minutes my husband and I were headed to the hospital with our overnight bags. We were relieved to find out it was just mucus. (I know it sounds disgusting!)

A Tale of Two Periods
Since I was diagnosed with endometriosis 15 years ago, I can’t recall a single time a doctor recommended managing my symptoms with diet. Instead, every doctor I saw recommended surgery and progestin heavy birth control. Eventually I got sick of feeling like my endo symptoms were not adequately managed plus suffering from the additional side effects from birth controls, so I decided to look for a more holistic approach to treating my Stage IV Endometriosis.

My Body Failed Me
Last night I did something really dumb…. I was browsing Facebook after my son had finally gone to bed and I came across a story titled “Privileged Woman Dials 911 for Formula at 2am After Breastmilk ‘Suddenly’ Dries Up” or something like that. Typically I would have known better, but to be honest, I was two glasses of wine deep and was feeling a bit invincible so I decided to read the comments.

I Drank a Gallon of Water Every Day for a Week
My whole life I was told to drink 8 8 ounce glasses of water a day to be healthy. Several years ago a friend told me she drinks a gallon of water a day. At first, I thought it was crazy but then I tried it. I felt great! So I kept it up
