I am an avid fanatic when it comes to sci-fi, anime, and novels. I love DC and Marvel comics, but if I had to choose a hero to save my ass--it would definitely be Batman.

Escaping Insanity
When I listen to music, it's usually as a means to escape. I yearn to be transported to a different reality than the one I currently reside in. Most of the time that means listening to upbeat pop music, if it's in another language then it's bonus points because I can only focus on the melody. But as I'm writing this, I realize that for the first time I have a song that has rooted me in the center of my reality. CG5 is a YouTuber and the creator behind the popular song Absolutely Anything and the genius behind the song Sepiatoned that keeps me trapped.

World of Figures: Izuku
I'm usually not a very proud person; despite my blended family background, I've always kept that feeling hidden away even when I felt accomplished. In this case however, this shot of my Izuku figure is perhaps one of my favorites. I love that I managed to capture his raw emotion and the level of detail to the figure. Izuku Midoriya is from the hit anime Boku no Hero, or My Hero Academia in English.

World of Figures: The Twin Wardens
Collecting anime figures is still a very new and enjoyable hobby for me. It started off small with pop figures, but eventually I started to crave something with a little more detail. I figured that since I had a well-paying job and didn't have a lot of major responsibilities like the traditional adults, I might as well splurge a little.

Another Three Must-Read Webcomics.
The three webcomics I'll be discussing today are personal favorites and those are Girls Of The Wild's, Green Boy and Tamen De Gushi. Webcomics are very popular in China, South Korea, Japan and soon enough, perhaps the rest of the world. From their amazing art style to the vibrant color schemes, what's not to love about webcomics?

DC Universe's Supersons – Vol. 1
From the very moment I opened the comic to the first page, I was hooked. Initially, I came across Supersons because of the YouTube channel ComicsExplained. I highly recommend it for any and everyone who's interested in both Marvel and DC universes. That aside, the story of Supersons centers around Damian Wayne and Jonathan Kent, sons of our favorite heroes Batman and Superman.

Top 3 K-Pop Groups To Add To Your Playlist.
Even though K-Pop has been around for a very long time, it blew up even more in the U.S after the phenomenal boy group known as BTS took home a Billboard Music Award back to South Korean. They are the first group to bring home such an achievement, but I doubt they will be the last. For those who are just getting into the K-Pop scene, here's a short list of K-Pop groups you should consider adding to your playlist.

I'm Coping, But I'm Not Okay
June 19, 2016 will forever be a horrifyingly beautiful reality check to me. I thought I knew what it meant to be in despair, to feel as though my life was truly about to crumble and have little worth in this world. My stepfather showed me otherwise on the day he decided to kick me out. He blamed me for many things, from my sister's disinterest in her personal hygiene to the altercation between her and my brother.

Midori & Never
The tiny flower ship on 902 Brady Street was the pride and joy of the town. It was small and quaint, the kind of town that had one library and one college and one coffeeshop. One of everything. Houses older than some of the trees were. Decades-old slave plantations to tour, cathedrals that had never had additions built upon them in centuries, first editions of books only the locals would ever read.

Even the Vampire Queen Battles Insecurity
Insecurity has plagued every single one of us in some shape or form. Sometimes it's because we beat ourselves up and at other times, it's because of external forces; i.e: people we may know or hardly know, a video on YouTube that attacks several habits or traits you may have and so forth. We find our solace through various mediums and a highly popular one is television, more specifically television shows such as the popular Adventure Time. Let's dig a bit deeper here and extract the beloved Marceline Abadeer and see through her point of a view, yes?

Three Must-Read Webcomics!
Recently I've acquired a new guilty pleasure and that is webcomics! There are other names for them as well such as manhua, manhwa, webtoons —you get the picture, yes? So, with that said, I present to you three amazing webcomics that are definitely worth the read for both beginners and veteran webcomic readers like myself. First on the list is the webcomic ReLife by Yayoi Sou. It's a romantic, slice of life comedy that centers around the so-called 27-year-old NEET, Kaizaki Arata. After quitting his job at the company his graduate school placed him while only being there for three months, Kaizaki is out interviewing at different corporate companies for the same job.
