If you loved the first season of Yummy Mummies, you will also love the second season that was released on Netflix on July 3, 2019. If you did not watch the first season, it followed four mothers to be in Australia and their expensive preparations to look after the newborns.

No doubt viewers will miss Maria DiGeronimo, who was in Season 1 but is not returning for the second season. New cast member Iva Marra will provide interesting entertainment in her role. She joins Jane Scandizzo, Rachel Watts, and Lorinska Merrington, who are no longer pregnant, but mothers of toddlers.

The Australian reality television series premiered on July 9, 2017. During the first season of the reality show, four wealthy, expectant mothers tried to outdo one another as they prepared to welcome their babies into the world.

Fans were happy when the show was renewed for a second season in 2018. Now the time has come for it to be on Netflix with ten new episodes. Like Season one, the second season is a reality show on steroids.

Motherhood

Fans of the show might be wondering how the second season will be different from the first season now that the women are no longer pregnant. Well, there is a lot in store. The women are mummies now. Therefore, there will be a lot of interesting things as they still compete and discuss feeding, sleepless night, and childcare, child rearing and all that goes along with being new parents. Then they ponder whether to get pregnant again.

Season 2 of Yummy Mummies released on Netflix on July 3, 2019.

About the Mummies

Maria Di Geronimo decided to leave the show after the first season. She and her husband Carlos Vannini want privacy for their family which includes their daughter Valentina.

Maria was the most outspoken of the pregnant women. She didn't spare any expense on luxury items. Before Valentina was born, Maria had already bought her an entire wardrobe of designer clothes that she can wear up to age 14. Maria's mother Margherita was just as elaborate.

Jane Scandizzo is the only cast member who was pregnant with a second child during the first season. She already had two-year-old Jagger. Even though she was the quiet one, the others leaned on her for support about what to expect as a first-time parent.

Rachel Watts seems to be the most down-to-earth of the group. She is a retail manager for a fashion brand. Her husband, Jayson Watts, is a partner of a successful real estate agency.

Lorinska Merringtonis a Melbourne socialite. She is married to Andrew Merrington, a partner in a successful finance company and former AFL player. Lorinska told TV Week that people will either love her or hate her because there is not much in between.

It is not fair to say Iva Marra has big shoes to fill because she is replacing Maria Di Geronimo. They are two different women with two different personalities and lifestyles. Just as Maria brought something interesting to the show, Iva is expected to do the same.

Iva has been described as the diva on the show. We know that the new cast member has a year-old daughter named Milana. She suffered an ectopic pregnancy before giving birth. That will surely be addressed on the show.

Watch Season 2

Watch the ten episodes of the second season of Yummy Mummies and see how the wealthy Australian women adjust to motherhood and if they plan to enlarge their families. In the first season, when they were pregnant, they tried their best to outdo one another. Let's see if that will happen in the second season. Perhaps their children will keep them so busy that they will have little time for anything else.
