A Guide to Everyday Life Written by the Help

Just to get started, I'm going to tell you a little bit about myself. I am the help! I don't know how many of you have worked as the help before, but it can be a very difficult job. There is an upside; it teaches you many things. Don't get me wrong, I love my job but there are some days I just want to run away to a deserted island and never return.

The Mother

A picture perfect beauty! Everything you would expect from a mother of four: beautiful, classy, put-together and... bossy! But I mean come on, tell me a mother that's not a total boss. I know mine was.

The Father

A happy-go-lucky... grump. Likes to have a good time playing pranks on everyone for his own entertainment. Very fun to be around but drives you absolutely insane at the same time.

The Older Daughter

14 going on 21. If you have teenagers, especially girls, you know exactly what I am talking about. Beautiful, all her friends adore her, but she is way too cool for school. Can be loving, but is most of the time rude and bratty. But you know how those teenagers are.

The Son

Almost 13 and knows he's the coolest thing to ever hit this earth. Walks around like he owns the place, helps with nothing, and disappears for hours on end playing the latest video game.

The Baby

The best, most precious terror to enter this world. 2 years old and doesn't miss a beat. Into everything and has a heart as pure as gold... as long as she gets her way. If not, it's tantrum city.

Now that you have met the happy family, let's get started. Kids are crazy. And they do some of the stupidest things. Let's be real, these are not parenting tips, or a guide to raising kids. I am the help, not a parent; I don't have kids. I am also around some of the craziest kids you will ever find. All three of them, along with their crazy extended family. But I don't mind a little crazy.

If you are interested in hearing more about the wacky family I work for, let me know that I have an audience. With all this craziness, I don't have time to write to myself, but I will make a few posts to see how it goes. Hope you enjoy reading!
