I Miss You

I’ll always be that little girl you held in your arms when I couldn’t even open my eyes. I’ll always be that girl that came crying to you after my first breakup and you cocked your shotgun. Your time has already come, and I don't know why the last time we saw you, you were doing just fine. It seems like just yesterday we were laughing with you. When I look up to the stars, I remember how special you are and how much I miss you.

Today I caught myself thinking of you, remembering your smile, your eyes, the way you held me, and when I realized I was smiling, I remembered how I cried. A million years could go by and I'd still remember that last day I spent with you as if it was yesterday...I wish I could go back to when you were still here, but you left this world at a young age. You will have a place in our hearts forever. Meet me at the gates. Behind my smile, there's many a tear, for one we loved and lost so dear, an empty place that can’t be filled, I miss you now and always will. When you lose someone you love, you never fully recover or return to the person you were before you lost them. You just learn to adapt to the new you. Every whisper of the breeze, every butterfly wing that touches my cheek, every kiss of the sun on my face.

God only takes the best—now I know this because he took you. I’d give anything to hear your voice for five seconds. I love and miss you. You say the worst goodbyes are the ones that you didn't see coming? Wrong! The worst ones are the ones you see and can't do a single thing about it. I've never been good at goodbyes...I will love you forever and you will be forever held in my heart until the rivers run still and the angels close my eyes. You have many things to deal with in life, but saying goodbye is the hardest! It's something you never wish to do.

Love everyone you have while you still can! So hard to say goodbye...When I needed you, there you were. When I cried, you held me. When I laughed, you laughed with me. When you're away from me, I am lost. I need you. Come back. There are no goodbyes in life, only see you laters. Even though it breaks my heart, I'm going to let you go.

Praying one day I wake up to see you standing at my door to rescue me. sometimes you have no choice but to say goodbye, but forever you'll be in my heart. No matter where I may be, I'll never forget those I love. We say goodbye to the person we love without wanting to. It doesn’t mean that we've stopped loving them. Sometimes goodbye is a painful way to say I love you. The sweetest parts of life are creating your memories. But...the hardest part is saying goodbye to the people and places that were a part of those memories.

No matter which way, where look at our pasts, we always remember the ones who made an impact on who we are today, and you surely made a impact on me from the times I took my first steps and shed my first tear to the time that my time is up and I get to the heaven gates and I see you there smiling with open arms.
