Things to be aware of when conceiving naturally

Menstrual cycle

The first way to conceive naturally is to make sure that you record the frequency of your menstrual cycle. This is one of the best things that you can do when you are trying to have a baby naturally. This is especially true if you have a regular period, where the days of the period are on the same amount of days each month. You will be able to predict better when you will be ovulating if you are tracking this information on a calendar. When you ovulate, this is when your ovaries will be releasing an egg every month.

Ovulation

The second way is to monitor your ovulation. Most of the time, if you have a regular cycle, then you will ovulate about two weeks before you have a period. But if your period is irregular, then it is harder to predict when you will be ovulating. One of the best things to use to predict when you will ovulate is through a prediction kit that you can take home. You will be able to find these kits at your local drug store. Basically, the kit will test the urine for the luteinizing hormone. This hormone will be in the urine more each month when you are ovulating.

Sex

The third way is to make sure that you are having sexual intercourse every other day when you know that you are fertile. You will have a fertile window that will last for about six days. It is not going to make a big difference if you are doing it everyday or every other day during your fertile window. There are a lot of different tools like applications and websites thanks to new technology that women are going to use in order to keep track of their fertility. This means that you will be able to keep tabs on where you will be a lot more likely to conceive a baby.

Weight

The fourth way is to try to make sure that your body weight is healthy. If you are too heavy, then it can reduce the odds of you being able to conceive a baby naturally. But this can also be the case if you are too thin. Most of the time, when you are overweight, then it can take you twice as long to have a baby compared to a woman who has a healthy body weight. This is because when you have too much body weight, then the body will produce more estrogen that can interfere with your ovulation. And if you are too skinny, then it can take up to four times as long.

Vitamins

The fifth way is to take your prenatal vitamins. Some people think that the vitamins are only supposed to be taken when you are already pregnant. This is one of the best ways that you will be able to find one that will work best for you and you will be able to stay on the vitamins during your pregnancy. You could also take a multivitamin on a regular basis that contains folic acid and Vitamin B. This is something that is important to preventing any birth defects in the spine and brain of the baby.

Healthy Foods

The sixth way is to eat a healthier diet. This diet can help to prepare the woman's body to handle the pregnancy by giving her all of the nutrients that she and the baby will need. Some of these nutrients include iron, protein, and calcium. Therefore, you will need to eat lean protein, a variety of different fruits and vegetables, dairy, whole grains, and healthy sources of fat. Dark green vegetables, orange juice, broccoli, beams, citrus fruits, and fortified breads and cereals are going to have Vitamin B in them. This will help if you are taking a supplement that contains folic acid.
