Baby Products You Must Have

Five Baby Products Babies Love

I believe one of the hardest things for me was deciding what baby products to get for my son while I was pregnant and preparing. Thankfully, my family is baby crazy. Plus they're basically pros so I was fortunate enough to receive most of my baby products through them.

1.) The Rock 'n Play Sleeper

Pinterest

The Rock 'n Play Sleeper is probably my top favorite product I have been gifted. It's convenient, easily portable, and just a saving grace.

The scariest thing for me was and still is not having my son sleep next to me. Preferably I would haver have him in the bed with my fiance and I but we both roll. Also, I have a problem with blankets and pillows so I have twenty plus of each piled onto our bed. So having him up with us isn't the safest route.

He was also rolling onto his side when I would lay him in his crib and I was worried about him rolling over on his stomach. I had and still do have a bad case of hovering, but with the pack and play and can lay him to sleep in it and he's right next to me. Plus it's the same height as my bed so in a sense it's as if he is up in the bed with me.

He also had a problem with being able to fall asleep easily and would cry for what seemed like forever no matter what we would do. But when I would start to rock it, he was fast asleep.

The last thing is the portability. My family does yearly vacations so all I had to do was press the buttons on the side and it laid flat together. Also whenever I'm doing house work, I can just pull him along from room to room when he's napping (we have carpeted floors so I wouldn't recommend doing this on wood). Also the cloth bedding easily snaps off so it's easy to wash regularly.

2.) The Cradle 'n Swing

Pinterest

I was so happy when I brought out the Cradle 'n Swing. My son loves to hang out in it. It's another gift I am grateful to have received.

What's nice about this product is you can adjust the swing speed motion. I personally put it on one, for when he sleeps and two, for when we are hanging out. You also have three song settings. One is nighttime, second is daytime, and the third is nature noises. Plus you can adjust the volume and turn the spinning animals on or off.

As I said before, he loves this product and I mean really loves it. I'll try to hang out in our room with him and he starts fussing because he wants his birdies (his Cradle 'n Swing has birds), and as soon as I lay him in and buckle him up, his face lights up instantly and he starts having full on conversations with them.

At night I'll try to transfer him to our room from the living room. My fiance manages nights so we hang out until he comes home. Plus he typically starts to take a nap around 10 at night. I'll try to get him to sleep in there before he gets home, but he does not—and I mean does not—want to leave this thing. We have a nightly ritual of this but once Daddy gets home, he forgets all about the Cradle 'n Swing and will hang out and cuddle with us in the room until he's ready to go to bed for the night.

3.) The Baby Seat Bouncer

Pinterest

The Baby Seat Bouncer is really nice to have. You can place it on almost any flat surface, it vibrates, and it plays music. I honestly never play the music but I always turn on the vibrate setting since he loves bouncing on knees. I have heard that this setting does freak out some babies and they hate it, but he won't sit in it unless if I have it on.

However we did have to wait to use this product until he was a little older since it sits higher up and he couldn't support his head. Although it's nice to have him in when I'm cooking, washing, and making his bottles, doing dishes, or doing laundry, he will hang out in it comfortably and watch his cartoons and most of the time occasionally giggle.

4.) Snap 'n Go Stroller Frame

Pinterest

The Snap 'n Go Stroller is my favorite. I've tried the regular sit up ones but my son never liked them. However, he loves car rides so he's pretty happy and willing when it comes too his carseat.

It's convenient with the bottom holder for diaper bags and other items. The cup holders are one of my favorite things about it since I'm a big coffee drinker and can't make it through the day without it. Plus I use the other holder to hold his bottles so it's nicer than having to rummage through to find them. Also the Snap 'n Go Stroller is easy to store away and takes up little space since it folds in half and lays flat.

It's comforting for me as well because I can always see my son instead of him facing forward. He also sleeps easy in this as well because of the head support most other strollers don't provide.

5.) Nursery Glider and Ottoman

Pinterest

Lastly is the Nursery Glider and Ottoman. This product is really nice to have and I do actually have this one but in grey tone. It's really easy to assemble, or should I say watch to be assembled. I was surprised to say this is actually very cosy and comfortable.

While I was pregnant I would sleep in this all the time because my heartburn was terrible. Then when I had my son, he wouldn't fall asleep unless we rocked him in the chair. Thankfully though he grew out of it as he gotten older and falls asleep better on his own.
