Toddlers and Tantrums (Pt. 2.5)
Being a parent is hard. Being a parent with mental illnesses is even more difficult. There are days where I just want to lay in bed all day and just try to sleep away the depression. But that isn't how it happens. It's never how it happens.

Toddlers & Tantrums (Pt. 2)
Some days are better than others. Today was one of them. At least for now, it was. Her grandparents were gone for the evening so it was just her, her husband, and their kids. Toddlers & Tantrums (Pt. 1)
The day started as any other, the kids waking her up for the day before her alarm even has a chance to go off. Then it was on to clean clothes and breakfast, then meds for her oldest. Sexism in the Geek Community
Comic books and graphic novels: two of my many favorite things. Two things that I had to keep hidden away while growing up. Two things that I cannot openly talk about unless I am with my husband. I'm 23 years old; I shouldn't have to hide this or be treated like a little girl that doesn't know what I'm talking about when it comes to my dork side.

What Autism Has Taught Me
Parenting is hard. There's no getting around that. There's the cooking, cleaning, appointments, acting as a referee if you have multiple children, attitudes, and so much more. My favorite part of the day is when the whole house is asleep. I have time to admire my kids, think back to what happened that day, what moments were perfect, and what could have been done a little differently.
