A Letter to My Younger Self
Hannah, Stop, just stop what you're doing right now. No one is bothering to look at you and if they happen to look your way, it is only because they see that you are enjoying yourself. That's what life is all about anyways, isn't it? Finding the things, people, and places that make you happy, fill you with joy, and you can hold close to your heart. You need to stop holding back and missing out on things you would have reveled in due to the irrational fear that you have of those around you judging you. Laugh loud and freely because you feel like it, make memories, because at the end of the day that's all we have, and most importantly love yourself relentlessly for who you are. Be kind to yourself. You matter.

To You on Your Birthday
I want to start this off by wishing you a happy, relaxing and joyous 28th birthday. As my big sister, we haven't always been on the same page but because this is for your birthday I'm not going to dwell on that... Well, too much. I am writing this to explain to you just how much you mean to me in case you don’t already know, and it's a lot. You are a wonderful human being with unlimited potential and such a kind, caring, and outgoing personality and you deserve to be celebrated by all of the people in your life. You always take into account the feelings of those around you and act accordingly, no matter the situation, and that is a rare thing to find.

A Letter to My Parents
I don't know what I would do without the love you have both showered me with throughout the years. You have been understanding, firm, sensitive, and supportive from the very beginning, always pushing me towards my dreams. I am lucky. I have been provided with such wonderful opportunities and you've given me such a pleasant childhood to recollect. You have both been role models for all four of us children and it is because of you that we are all on such amazing paths in life. I know this may seem cliché, but I consider you both to be two of my closest friends due to the fact that I can tell you anything and everything.

Moving Across the Country
I grew up in a small town where everyone knew each other and the most fun one could have was going to the movie theater in the basically abandoned building that we called a mall. I have always wanted to experience new and exciting places, but have never had the chance, so when I found out that my older sister and her husband were moving across the country I couldn't wait to visit. Before I had the opportunity to visit, she called and informed us that they were expecting a bouncing baby boy towards the end new year. Once those words left her mouth and travel through the phone, I instantly knew what I wanted. I not only wanted, but felt like I needed, to move there and provide them with child-care, all while gaining the experiences of a new place.

Peace of Mind
Everyone, at one point in their lives, does things that they are not proud of and then later allows it to ruin their peace. When I say everyone, I mean everyone. Take me for example, I have done many things that I am not proud of and now here I am at 8 pm on a Monday night with my mind reeling. I want to have a calm, quiet, and peaceful mind and yet for some reason, all I can think about, or more accurately dwell on, are the things I have done in the past. These things are in the past and yet they still prove to be such an issue and it is not for the things themselves, but it is because of the way they make me see myself.

The Beauty We Live In
Everything is so fast-paced that no one takes the time anymore to really enjoy their surroundings; take in the beauty of the tree, the sounds as the rivers flow, or the feel of the grass and/or sand under their feet. There is so much going on around us that gets taken for granted, things that we don't even realize we are underappreciating because it's all we have ever known. There are many beautiful things in today's world, both manmade and natural, that everyone takes for granted on a daily basis. One of the many natural creations that I have always seemed to take for granted just so happens to be the clouds that delicately float above us in the sky.
