A Reason to Be Proud
My family gives me purpose.
I am a proud Mom! I have such a loving, wonderful daughter. At times she is a handful like her Daddy, but I wouldn't trade her for anything in this world. She is trying out for sports this year if the school allows for it, if not she will try out next year. She is also starting dance classes, possibly going back into girl scouts, and she is also in strings. When she can she will be going into choir as well as JROTC. She goes to church and tells people about God and that God loves them. She has voiced her choice for the 2018 judge elections. She is a sweetheart and cares so much about the people in her life. She stands up for herself with bullies. I have so many reasons to be proud of this little girl. When I am sick and can't breathe she grabs my inhaler, a drink, and asks if I need her to call 911. She makes sure I have it with me at all times and if I leave the house she makes sure I take it with me. if I have an episode she is asking to go with me so she can keep me safe.
I am a proud Mom of an awesome son! He is so helpful. When I can't count on anyone else I know I can count on him. He feels he has to be the man of the house and he does everything to take care of me. He doesn't let anyone hurt me or say a bad word against me. He is my protector. He is loyal and thinks his momma is skinny when she's fat because that is how he sees her. He thinks she's the best mom ever and no one can convince him otherwise. I am blessed to be his momma. He is taking JROTC, he plays sports, he takes care of his sister, he's in French club. He's involved in church and teen groups. polices the football games at school. I have so many reasons to be proud of him. He's my rock, I talk to him about so much, he always checks on me, and I probably talk to him about too much. These kids are not only my babies but two of my best friends as well.
I am a proud wife! My husband and I have not had an easy road, but through all of the trials we have faced I still love that man and I will work on any issue that we face. We have had bad days and good ones, we've had many more days that are good. He writes me beautiful poems and songs that really touch my heart as well as other people he writes them for. Sends me cards, drawings, and one of the best things I've gotten is a paper rose. He's a good dad and that makes me proud as well.
I am a proud daughter! My mom taught me how to be a good mom, a good person, and a good friend. She taught me how to take care of myself, how to not be walked on, and what to not out up with when it came to a man. She always wanted the best for me. I was always so proud of her, and hope to this day she would be of me as well.
I am very proud of my son for joining JROTC and going out for so many groups. I am proud of my daughter for trying something new that she enjoys as in strings. I am proud of my mom because she showed me the marriage I never wanted. I am most proud of my husband for being in a bad situation and not giving up on his life even when he wants to. this is my family, my reason to get up every morning.
