In a huge cave deep inside the Sinharaja jungles, lives an 11-year boy named Tugvut, and his aggressive, but loving father Gnouzcac. Gnouzcac’s 24th generation grandfather's, mother’s, aunt’s, brother decided that their family should move into this cave to be able to grow strong and independent away from the rest of society. They also wanted to continue the life of their forefather and mother, Adam and Eve. Sadly, Tugvut’s mother died, from falling off the border of the waterfall, when she was changing Tugvut’s diaper, years ago, well that’s what they say so they are able to sleep at night.

Gnouzcac lived a life that involved hunting, fishing, gathering and teaching his boy how to be a proper caveman. He didn't like games and distractions that brings him and his son away from tradition, so he made sure before Tugvut was born he got rid of everything that could lead his son away from the cave path. He started his teachings by giving him a book he wrote on tree bark, filled with etiquette, on how to grow a caveman beard to how cave boys are supposed to use the bathroom, which he handed to him when he was eight. Tugvut didn't blame him for his behavior since he was still upset over his mother’s death.

Tugvut was an adventurous young soul, he loved to play with the small animals, and swing on trees like Tarzan, and sing rhymes through out the forest. His father was super upset any time he wasted time playing around, but that wouldn't stop his curiosity. He would always lie about where he goes and comes from, and makes sure to get most of his work done in the morning, because he thought it was easier to do the job right, then to explain why you didn't. If he didn't, he would be dead by the morning, metaphorically speaking of course.

One day Tugvut woke up extremely early because he wanted to explore the far East of the the Jungle. He washed the clothes, caught two morning rabbits for breakfast, and a bucket of fish for dinner. He shook his father slightly to notify him that he's taking off and started his journey to the East with his monkey sudoku. They walked and found interesting landmarks, unusual fruits, and many wild animals. They went farther and farther, into man's territory, a place where his father him not to cross into, because his father words were stuck in his head, so he didn't. As he was turning his back to begin his journey home, he found the most beautiful object covered with grass on the ground. When he shook it white things started appearing all around it, and there was a girl in the middle of it, who danced. When he turned it around, it read “Snow Globe 2010.” It was honestly the most beautiful thing Tugvut and Sudoku, have ever seen. He took it and ran home as fast as he could, before the sun went down and his father becomes worried and upset.

When he reached home he hid the globe from his father in a sack he was carrying. He entered the cave his father was cooking the fish he caught. Gnouzcac was proud of his son for finishing his responsibilities, and caught him and started kissing and hugging all over him. Those were the times that Tugvuts was sure his father loved him. When he was trying to escape the love, his father felt the snow globe in his sack. He quickly caught it before Tugvut could catch it back. If one was to see his eyes, they would have probably killed themselves in a heartbeat, that's how angry he was. He throws it on the floor as fast as he could, but since it was made out of rubber it couldn't break. Tugvut caught it as it bounced towards him, his father tried to grab it so he could throw it in the fire that was cooking the fish. Tugvut was fast enough, to get away from his distance and that’s when he yelled as loud as, he could and broke his father into tears:

He said, “Oh Father Gnouzcac I have loved so much everyday since the day I was born, even more after mother died, you never gave up on me, but if feel like for years you have been avoiding your feeling and when you do that you are avoiding who you really are. The pain is causing you to die slowly inside which is causing you to suffer alone. I am here for you and we must trust and stick together. Father, the emotions that could break your heart, like it's doing right now could be what will heal it if you just tell me and talk to me. This snow globe that’s it my hand is so beautiful and the only reason I risked his life bringing it home is that he thought it would remind him and his father how amazing mother was. The girl in the globe looks a little like the picture of her you carved on every tree bark around our cave. I know it’s hard to forget someone who gave you so much to remember, but why forget. You should think of her every time you see me, and the girl stuck in the globe. She will always be with us, and we should learn to enjoy our lives because of that.”

Gnouzcac fell to the ground and started crying, it was the first and ugliest cry Tugvut’s father has ever produced. Even though the look was horrific, he walked up to his father and confronted him as they cried together. He finally let out all the pain, that his soul was carrying. Tugvut thought if tears were drinkable he had water for a lifetime. After talking the whole night about how each of them feel, the father and son duo have never been so close as they were after that day. Gnouzcac allowed Tugvut to keep the snow globe, he even made a shelf where he could place it. Occasionally they would shake it, to see the snowfall and the girl dance, they would then dance and laugh together. Gnouzcac and Tugvut spent more time together, hunting, fishing, washing clothes, and even going on adventures. Tugvut calls the globe a blessing from the heavens because it made his father a new man. Gnouzcac said it reminded him what butterflies feel like.
